Grain offers a desktop capture mode that records audio directly from your computer's output. This means no bot icon appears in the meeting participant list, making recordings less intrusive for attendees. It currently works on Apple Silicon Macs and supports any meeting platform or even in-person conversations.

Grain supports Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and Slack huddles. It connects to your Google or Microsoft calendar and can automatically join and record scheduled meetings based on configurable rules for internal, external, or all meetings.

Grain's official MCP server lets you access your meeting notes, transcripts, deals, and coaching data natively inside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Windsurf. It includes built-in prompts for generating Voice of the Customer reports, pipeline analysis, and SPICED deal reviews using your actual meeting data.

On the Business plan and above, Grain integrates with HubSpot and Salesforce to auto-sync meeting notes, action items, and call properties to CRM contacts and deals. HubSpot property mapping lets you push specific data points from calls directly into custom HubSpot fields.

Ask Grain lets you query your entire meeting library using natural language prompts. It returns answers with precise citations linking back to specific timestamps in your recordings. You can generate reports, extract patterns, or ask follow-up questions across hundreds of meetings at once.
