Ouba is a web-based AI interactive-fiction platform where you read authored, branching romance stories — and steer them. Instead of watching characters fall in love, you're the protagonist: at each decision point you choose what to say or do, and the AI writes the next stretch of prose along the path you picked, carrying your earlier choices forward so the story stays coherent.

The key difference from AI chatbots is that a human creator wrote the story first. Characters, world, tone and the forks themselves are authored in advance; the AI fills in responsive prose between the rails. That gives you the "fall into a story" feeling of a novel with the agency of a visual novel or otome route — closer to a living choose-your-own-adventure than either a fixed script or an open-ended chat window.

The public catalog holds 230+ published stories from ~17+ creators, browsable by genre, creator, mood and trope — enemies-to-lovers, slow burn, werewolf/fated mates, campus, mafia, historical court, BL, isekai/transmigration, billionaire CEO, dark fantasy and more.

There's also an in-app creator: describe your story in one sentence and the AI drafts every field (title, characters, opening scene), which you then edit and publish to the same library you read from.

Ouba runs entirely in the browser at ouba.art — desktop and mobile web, nothing to install, no account needed to start reading, and free to read. The interface is available in 12 languages including RTL Arabic. Accounts are 18+, and the browsable public catalog is moderated and kept non-explicit, with mature-tagged stories filtered out and in-app reporting available.
